    ....

    Do you ever feel...

    Image hosted by Photobucket.com

    ...like this?

    ღ~Making a guestbook~ღ

    Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Some people have asked how to do it.  I thought i would provide the help!

    1. Make a new blog entry with the title "guestbook" for obvious reasons.

    2. Add a short message to the blog entry asking people to leave a comment /sign.

    3. Publish the entry and click preview my space.

    4. Now on the blog entry you've just published you should see something that looks like the picture below (located under the blog you've just published), where it says *"Permalink" click it! a web address will appear just underneath it, highlight it then copy it!

                     17:56 | Permalink | Comments (0) | Trackbacks (0)

    5. Now all you have to do is make a new list with the title "Guestbook" then when adding a new item to the list, in the "URL" section paste the web address that you copied in step 4!

    6. Now click Add then your done! how easy!

Note: At first your guestbook will be visible from the front page, but as you add more blog entries it will eventually become hidden so then all you'll be left with is a list linking directly to it!

    * "Permalink" (short for permanent link) is a type of URL made to refer to a specific information item (blog in our case lol) and to remain unchanged permanently, or at least for a lengthy period of time.

A little bit of pixie dust!

    Please SAVE, Don't COPY!

I know a lot of people like my pics and borders. I don't mind you taking them to use for your space. But the problem is, most people just Copy them into blog entries~this is called Direct Linking~ and it's using up the bandwidth on my account.

So I'm pleading...please Save them onto your hard drive and upload them onto your own photobucket account or use other image hosts. Otherwise there will be no pics to share!

To insert pics into your blogs!

To insert pics into your blogs!

    1) You should set up an image host account~i use Photobucket.com~ which btw is free lol

    2) You can then upload the images you want onto ur account

    3) Open an image (so that it appears in a blank screen on its own)then copy and paste it into your blog entry~ using ctrl+v to paste~ then Voila!!!

    4) Highlight/select an image and use the set of icons next to the bold, italic etc. to adjust left, centre or right. You can also drag the pic up or down.

OR You can also copy and paste images from other msn spaces. BUT do not directly link from other websites. This is because "Remote linking" is stealing bandwidth that some webmasters have to pay for and it is considered a copyright infringement!

    Adding background music...

     ♬Adding Background Music♪

First you need to be able to edit blog entries using HTML rather than rich text (which is the standard mode). Go to http://www.siteexperts.com/blogging/editit.htm

Right-click on where it says 'Edit it!' and select 'Add to favorites...'
When making a new blog entry, go to 'Favorites' and select 'Edit it!' from the drop-down list.
Extra features should appear in your blog task bar e.g. 'Font Style and Font Style' and also at the bottom of the entry, just before 'Add photos', should be an option for
'Use HTML to create your page'
Tick the box for 'Use HTML to create your page' and whatever else you put in your blog should turn into, what we non-site experts see as, complete gobbledegook.
Right! Now, add the music code on the end of all the gobbledook:

    <P><IMG height=1 loop=infinite dynsrc=Put your music URL here width=0 border=0></P>

    NOTE:
There must a space between the end of your URL and the beginning of 'width'.
You can only use music that is stored online and only wmv .asf mp3 and midi files are supported.
If adding new music in a new blog entry, remember to remove the old music code from you previous entry.
    .
You can only use MP3 or WMV file formats.

Tip: Annoyed by the music on someone's space? Press the Esc key to switch it off.

    McDonald's staff

What is it with McDonald's staff who pretend they don't understand you unless you insert the 'Mc' before the item you're ordering? It has to be a McChicken burger...a chicken burger gets blank looks. Well, I'll have a McStraw and jam it into your McEyes, you f**cking McTosser!

    Quote

Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there really is another way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment and think of it."

"I am a Bear of Very Little Brain, and long words bother me."

"I have been Foolish and Deluded, and I am a Bear of No Brain at All."

"It's very hard to be brave when you're only a very small animal."

    "It's today!" said Piglet.
    "My favorite day," said Pooh.

"When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?"
    "What's for breakfast?" said Pooh.
"What do you say, Piglet?" "I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.

"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best--", and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.

"And how are you?" said Winnie-the-Pooh. Eeyore shook his head from side to side. "Not very how," he said. "I don't seem to felt at all how for a long time."

"One can't complain. I have my friends. Someone spoke to me only yesterday."

    - Eeyore
